Ingredients

  • 1 package Sweet Hawaiian Dinner Rolls Choose a 12-count pack for the perfect base.
  • ½ pound deli sliced smoked chicken ham Adds depth and flavor with its rich smokiness.
  • ½ pound deli sliced smoked roasted turkey A leaner option that complements the ham beautifully.
  • ½ pound Gruyère cheese Hand grated for optimal melting and flavor distribution.
  • 1 stick salted butter Melted to brush on top for a golden finish.
  • 1 unit egg Beaten to create a rich egg wash enhancing color and texture.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Adds umami and a touch of tanginess to the filling.
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard For a slight kick that balances the sweetness of the rolls.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Creaminess that binds the flavors together seamlessly.
  • to taste powdered sugar For a light dusting that provides an extra touch of sweetness.
  • to taste raspberry preserves A delightful dip that contrasts perfectly with savory elements.

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully slice the package of Hawaiian dinner rolls in half horizontally without separating them completely. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the Gruyère cheese over the bottom half of the rolls, followed by layers of smoked chicken ham and smoked roasted turkey, then top with the remaining Gruyère cheese.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, and mayonnaise until well-mixed. Brush this mixture over the assembled sliders.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls back on top of your layered ingredients. Brush generously with the topping sauce and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown and melty.
  6. Once baked, let cool slightly before slicing into individual sliders. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve alongside raspberry preserves for dipping.
