Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Carefully add the oven-ready lasagna noodles and cook them until they are al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
Dice the onions and add them to a deep skillet along with the ground beef or turkey and Italian sausage. Brown the meats over medium heat until fully cooked, stirring occasionally.
Pour in both cans of spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce into the skillet with the meat mixture, adding one cup of water as well. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and let everything simmer together for about 15 minutes.
Begin layering by sprinkling powdered Parmesan cheese on the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan. Lay down four noodles followed by a third of your meat sauce mixture, then half a cup each of Colby jack cheese and mozzarella cheese before sprinkling more Parmesan on top.
Repeat layers two more times following the same pattern—noodles, sauce, cheeses—with mozzarella being on top. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 50 minutes; remove foil for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
